Power BI error on connecting to Dynamics 365

We encountered the “OData: The feed’s metadata document appears to be invalid.” whilst trying to connect Power BI desktop to Dynamics 365 v9.1. Apparently Dynamics 365 v9 is not yet supported for this connection. The fix is simple – just replace the version number in the api url for the Power BI connection:

Replace
https://myclientsorganisation.crm11.dynamics.com/api/data/v9.1/

with
https://myclientsorganisation.crm11.dynamics.com/api/data/v8.1/

Hopefully MS will fix this soon.
